ITG European Cup 2013, powered by Positive Gaming

After a 3 year break when it comes to such events, the 7th European Championships in machine dance kicked off at Silverstone in the Netherlands in the middle of July, 2013. The event was organized by ITG Europe; with concept, support and equipment supplied by Positive Gaming, and with Ole Petter Høie from Positive Gaming giving the opening and closing speeches.

The event lasted 4 intense days, there were 4 In the groove machines in use and the game play level was higher than ever. Players from around 10 countries travelled from across Europe to participate and meet up with other dance game enthusiasts.

It was a great and nostalgic event for both organizers and players alike, with the Finnish Markus Kokkonen aka Hippaheiki ending up as this year’s champion.

The results can be viewed here:
Videos from assorted finals etc can be found on the Finnish Dance Gamer Association’s web site using this link:

The event was certainly memorable, and Positive Gaming aims to ensure more international dance game events in the future!
